Dear Mr Willmott
It is with regret that I find I must write to you yet again regarding your daughter’s behaviour. You will recall that only last term, I had occasion to seek your assistance over the matter of Carol’s constant disregard of the School Rules, together with her insufferable rudeness towards members of my staff.
Having sent her home to ‘cool off’ for the remainder of this term, may I suggest that this might be the opportunity to put into action those measures which you and I discussed recently on the telephone.
Regrettably, I think the time has passed when a smacked bottom would do much good, particularly in view of Carol’s age. I am of the opinion that at seventeen, a girl would benefit more from the application of a cane to her backside. I would also recommend the taking-down of her knickers, if for no other reason than that it will sting more!
I shall look forward to hearing from you regarding Carol’s return to school, when you have dealt with her anti-social tendencies.
A. Keller (Miss)
